I've been getting lots and lots of watchers recently, despite having posted only one drawing in the past 9 months.  I can only assume that most of those watchers are interested in my Hetalia comics, so here is my unfortunate announcement to any new watchers out there:  

I will not be posting any more Hetalia comics or Hetalia related art in general.  I know a while ago I posted a journal entry stating that I was going to do one last comic, but that fell flat.  So to summerize; if you are only interested in my Hetalia work, please feel free to unwatch me.  If you are interested in my art in general, I'd love it if you would remain a watcher.

However, my scanner has been broken for a few months (my last drawing was scanned by a friend).  It may be a while until I'm actually able to get some art up here.  When I do, it will most likely be about DC and Marvel Comics, One Piece, Claymore, Hellsing, and video games (with a few OCs thrown in as well).

I haven't been posting at all for a really long time, and I know I'm dissapointing all my watchers because of that.  What I'm about to say next will probably dissapoint everyone even more: I have one more idea for a Hetalia comic (which I will post as soon as I'm finished), and that's it.  After that, I won't be posting any more Hetalia comics, instead, most of my art will be video game related.  I deeply appologize to anyone who was looking forward to more Hetalia comics, possibly a "Pick-Up Lines" part 8, but alas, I believe I have run dry of all my ideas.

I really must apologize to all of my watchers who have hung in there in hopes of me uploading something interesting.  It's apparent that the vast majority of you are here for Hetalia stuff, and I'm sorry for not delivering.  I guess I just have lost interest in Hetalia.  Most of my motivation for making Hetalia comics was the fact that I have a friend who loved Hetalia in my watchers, so I made the stuff mostly for her.  Now that she herself hasn't been on DA in a long time, I don't feel as motivated towards making Hetalia stuff.  

Don't worry, I'm still drawing, just maybe not as often as I used to, and most of the drawings I start, I end up throwing out because I don't like the way they turn out.  I'm now drawing completely for myself, and most of the stuff I draw for myself won't interest at least 90% of my watchers.  Most of what I draw for myself is either concept art for my comic book ideas, or video game fan art.  The two video games I've been drawing lots of fan art for are Bioshock and Mass Effect, my two favourite video game series.  I even have (what I think is) a great idea for a Mass Effect fan comic (Bioshock Infinite and Mass Effect 3 are coming out very soon... *Fan squeal*)

And so this isn't only about me, how many of you like video games?  What is/are your favourite video game(s)?  Are you familiar with/a fan of Mass Effect?



(note: mood is about upcoming game releases.  GTA5 is coming out soon as well as Mass Effect and Bioshock)

First off I'd like to say Merry Christmas (not happy holidays, I celebrate Christmas.  If, say for example, you celebrate Hanukkah, and you wish me a Happy Hanukkah, I'm not gonna get offended, and I'll very much appreciate the sentiment)

Second off, I want to profusely apologize.  I haven't posted anything lately that most of my watchers would enjoy, and I feel awful.  I was working on a Hetalia Christmas comic, but it's Christmas Eve, and I'm not even close to done... so that ship has sailed.  I'm not gonna set a specific date, for fear of failing to complete my goal, but I will put up a comic as soon as I can.  That much, I promise you.

Third off, I have a Tumblr that I haven't used hardly ever, but I just decided that maybe it would be a good idea to start using it again.  I can post WIPs, and other things so you guys know I'm still alive.  I don't have a Twitter, and I already have WAY too many accounts to keep track of on different sites, so I may as well stick to what I already have, lol.  If you want, please follow me here: theshreddoctor.tumblr.com/

First thing I want to say is that I have an idea for a Hetalia Christmas comic.  Hopefully I can get it all together, and uploaded by the 25th.  I know that my Hetalia comics are the reason why 95% of my watchers added me, and I feel like I'm disappointing them by not putting new ones up.

Yesterday, I was going through my drawing folder to clear out some of my older drawings to make room in it, and then I thought of and Idea.  I have a drawer in my desk that has a crap load of old drawings of mine... the pile is thicker than all my textbooks stacked up.  I thought that maybe I could scan them, and put together a video that shows some of my old drawings, drawings I've deleted from DA, and drawings I never got the chance to finish, and put the video up on youtube.  this will take some time, however, because even though I'm off school for the next 2 and a half weeks, I still have some art assignments to complete, the comic I mentioned at the start, and a few other projects I'm working on.  I'm wondering if it will be worth it, will at least some of my watchers be interested in the video?
